About Triple P

in the United Kingdom and Ireland

Our team has been involved in supporting organisations to implement Triple P’s system of interventions for parents, families and educators, across the UK and Republic of Ireland since 2002. We know that supporting parents is critical to improving the health and wellbeing of our local areas and neighbourhoods – our communities, that we live and work in, too.

One of the Triple P systems key strengths is its flexibility of delivery format and scale. Triple P UK understands the importance of working collaboratively with organisations to develop suitable solutions from single programme delivery to integrated multi-intervention system-wide rollouts.

We have a proven track record of working in partnership with the national and devolved Government, the NHS, local authorities, state agencies (HSE, TULSA), the voluntary and community sector, schools and the youth justice system, to give every child the best possible start in life.

The Early Intervention Foundation rates Triple P programmes as cost-effective and evidence based, improving child and parent outcomes and reducing parent conflict, and lists it as a programme capable of preventing crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.

The Triple P programme is recognised by a number of What Works Centres and evidence-based clearing house including NICE, the Early Intervention Foundation, Education Endowment Foundation and Centre for Effective Services (CES). In England Triple P is also cited in Department for Education guidance for schools and part of the Department for Work and Pensions reducing parental conflict programme.

National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines recommend Triple P programmes to prevent child conduct disorder and treat ADHD symptoms.

Triple P UK is a subsidiary of Triple P International and part of an international group of social enterprises with a global mission to transform society through parenting. We have been delivering evidence-based parenting support around the world for more than four decades.

World Health Organization (WHO), in its Violence Prevention Report, named Triple P as one of only two programmes with strong evidence for preventing child maltreatment.

Triple P UK is a Certified B Corporation® meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
